Lovely and clean, bright and airy. Warm and comfort in minus 4 wind chill factor. The lounge room with open fire(gas fed) is so relaxing and the availability of coffee pod machine and microwave is a great asset . We felt we had the use of a guest house…. Not confined to one room. Very close easy walk to The Three Sisters. On a local bus route. Thank youPosted on Google Tara MilidesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I rang to tried to book a pet friendly room last minute but they were fully booked. My fault for leaving it last minute but a lovely staff member contacted me a few hours later to see if I was still looking for a room and they would accommodate us. I had sadly booked somewhere else. I am definitely going to stay there the next time Im up in the blue mountains.

Stayed for two nights. The location is great near echo point, scenic world and cafe lurline which is amazing. We had a small issue with our first room and the management was extremely helpful and efficient in mending the problem. The heated beds are amazing and essential for the winter. My only critique is the bathrooms are a bit small and could use more space to place personal toiletries. Overall, Would recommend.Posted on Google Di PriorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I stayed at Avonleigh about 30 years ago and was delighted to find that's it's still there, nicely renovated and extremely comfortable (I would maybe just suggest a little chest of drawers to be able to put away my clothes and a couple of hooks on the door for jackets), but that's just a tiny thing and was no issue There are two guestrooms near the back door and garden that are dog friendly so it was great to be able to take our little dog with us. It's so peaceful and cosy. And the chocolate shop/cafe at the front and bakery next door were very welcome. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay very much, and booked directly through the hotel :-)Posted on Google Peter CoxTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with my stay. Modern room in a beautiful property with plenty of character. Enjoyed the electric blanket
